I write this from the PICU Family Waiting Room as Ethan is having his chest closed right now. He is being heavily sedated for the procedure. We can't wait to be able to hold him again.
He did great overnight. No hiccups at all! I asked his nurse if anything could be going better. He said no. He is going to be asleep for a few hours after his surgery. I wonder what he dreams about.

He should be out of surgery by noon. I'll update shortly after.
