Doing Above Par!
At 2am Ethan had been out of surgery for 12 hours. At the 12th hour, it is expected that hiccups would occur. They didn't. At 24 hours out of surgery, DRs expect that his swelling would really pickup. It didn't. His swelling has gone down from last night. His coloring is normal. His heart rate is great. The oxygenation in his blood is doing pretty great. Everything is going very well. They have already gone through 3 stages of reducing the oxygen content from his ventilator, working towards bringing it down to normal oxygen content like air has. Please just keep praying everything will continue to go so smoothly. Also, say a prayer for my brother, Chris, who had an outpatient surgery this morning. We're blessed with such a great family. God Bless You All!
